I am not sure how this will work out....but I thought I would give it a try.

Initially when I setup the website, the intent was to have an individual feedback section for each page / arcade plans. As the site has grown (faster then I expected it to), setting up all of the individual feedback pages has become an onerous task to try and keep up with. The initial intent was to allow the "community" to drive the continual improvement of the plans by commenting on each set of drawings. Unfortunately, this hasn't been happening.

I thought it may be simpler to centralize all of the feedback (simpler for me at least). As changes are needed for specific pages/plans, I will update those pages.

Please feel free to comment below and I will respond or update as appropriate.

I think what you are doing is great, too many classic machines get stripped and converted for lack of a cabinet to put a pc or 60 in 1 board into. Keep it up!

I absolutely love what you're doing here. In Alaska, where I live, there are few good cabinets that haven't already been snapped up.

What most of us are left with are rotten cabinets that we're re-doing for friends, and of course - at least for me - it's a real challenge.

I am currently working on a Dig Dug and Donkey Kong, and unfortunately your Dig Dug plans aren't what I needed. They must be a 'cabaret' style cabinet. The closest I've come to find on this site are for Centipede, but sadly the only file I can view is the DXF file - and it's without measurements.

Do you have any advice here? I've been making the templates by hand and sure could use a complete set to verify I'm doing it right.

The dimensions are imbedded into the DXF files. The drawing is in "unit" for measurements, but I have put everything in as inches.

What you want to do is to download a copy of Draftsight. It is a free program that will allow you to view and manipulate CAD style files Open the DXF file. On the "HOME" toolbar, got to the "DIMENSIONS" dropdown, and click on "SMART". You can now click on any edge / shape in the drawing and it will tell you the dimensions in inches.

For most of the curved shapes, such as the side of the game, it may be easier to print out a template and follow the template. I made templates for the more difficult shapes. There should be printable templates for all of the cabinet plans. If I missed any, let me know and I will get them added.

Brilliant work you are doing here. I have a couple of generic cabinets but finding it really hard (in the UK) to buy the dedicated cabs I want in anything near good condition, good ones seem to change hands around the same group of people. Really looking forward to making a Frogger, I already have a PCB and control panel so looking forward to that one getting added. Until then think I'll make a Taito cab for a BUbble BObble I have, should be fun.

Building a dedicated Willow cabinet based on your HS-1 plans I cut them with a CNC I will let you know how it turns out.

I could use a little bit of hardware info for the Mortal Kombat machine build. Do you have a list somewhere of the type, size, and amount of the screws, bolts, etc? I have zero skill in these areas and for whatever reason, no one mentions this on any build site that I've found.
love what you're doing and have cut out most of my pieces to your plan to for a MK9 themed MAME machine. I appreciate all the effort you've already put in to help people like me. Thanks

I always wanted a Donkey Kong cabinet - I too found it hard finding one in the uk so I decided to build one from scratch.
